I am a bricklayer by trade, My Dad had his own masonry business for 30+ years so I grew up in the industry. In 1986 I was asked by the general superintendent of a Kansas City based joint sealant and waterproofing company if I would be interested in changing directions in my career. I decided to take a chance and make the change. I was hired as a foreman with the company and stayed there for 8 years. In 1993 that same general superintendent that hired me decided to start his own business and asked if I would join him in business. I had a good job at the time and was in the "comfort zone" and denied. In 1994 he asked me again and I agreed to join him in business. 22 years later and some gray hair, here I am in that company, JACOR Contracting with no regrets. Some of the activities that I enjoy are spending time with my grandchildren, what a blast they are. I like golfing, crappie fishing, camping and of course spending time with my wife.
